I'm watching this urn series for the first time in December 2020. Thank you for this, Bobby. From your wood choice to your beautiful symbolic designs, to your skill, to your style of presentation, this is a beautiful memorial to a person you clearly love deeply. In tie chaotic times where I am living right now, this is a beautiful catharsis.

This video series must’ve been the hardest one for you to make, since the situation behind it is so emotionally powerful, I wouldn’t have minded if you kept this to yourself. But I also think that you uploaded this series as an extra reminder to yourself how important he was to you as a friend.

I wish I could be able to make something like that for the day any friend or family member passes... especially my brother who puts himself at great risk in the Navy. Truly a work of art, it almost makes me jealous I can’t do stuff like that. The videos themselves made it feel almost like I was watching someone make my brother urn, and made me cry. Thank you for all the great content, you are an amazing artist.

On December 19, tomorrow for me, it’ll be the 3rd year anniversary for this video... that pains me

My condolences. Reminds of how much I miss my brother taken from us 7 years ago. He was a wonderful man and my best friend. He was the age I am now and only a year younger than your Friend. Cancer sucks.

Now I wish I hadn’t spent so much money on buying urns for my cat and dog. They were expensive yet feel so impersonal, conveying nothing of their character as I knew them. Your friend must have meant a great deal to you since you used Purple Heart, which since he was in the navy has a double meaning. But I know it is very difficult wood to carve, very hard. You made his urn personal, conveying parts of him that are well known to his friends and loved ones. I’ve watched all 3 videos and the end result shows just how much he meant to you as a friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I felt so much pain when I lost my grandmother, who was a true friend to me. I still miss her terribly. This is a masterful work of art and I hope it brought a sense of closure to your loss.

This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen, especially when I know all the thoughts and hard work that went into creating it.

I've designed an urn for friends of ours who had lost their daughter. This urn was cut out of wood by a small company in Africa. It was a great honor for me to design her urn. I can imagine how you must've felt making this beautifull work of art! Love your videos!

I just watched all three parts, and this is such a lovely urn. Seeing how much respect and love you had for your friend is beautiful. I just passed the first anniversary of my dad's death, and at the time, I mostly threw myself into my (retail) job and didn't think about it much. I wish I had been able to make something to take to my step-mom, for the ashes she kept.
