You got a big dip in the middle cause it wasn’t insulated, and cools to fast, if you put it in a box with newspapers tightly packed around it won’t dip as much in the middle! Took me ages to work this out making candles 👍

The "donut wrapping" is the first half of the method I use to make pom-pom balls out of yarn for winter hats. It's a tedious process that takes waaayyy too many layers to properly make, but it is worth it once complete.

Pillar candles are all made over seas with super duper cheap paraffin wax dipped in slightly better wax...hence the garbage in the middle! Wax also creates a gas when the crystal structures form as it hardens which causes the dip

You know that they sell pure wax (bee’s, paraffin) by the slab, don’t you, Bobby? Also, that cheap craft wire isn’t going to work either. Maybe try copper, because you’ll get some nifty (i.e. desirable) discoloration with the torch. Also, you’ll need to work-harden the wire to prevent it from just going limp. But to be honest - and I’m a jeweler - this is an idea with a lot of problems to overcome.

My dad makes candles and when the wax dries in the big vats he uses to store it theres holes that you can put your hole arm into in the middle, also dont try that before the wax dries, I have and it sucks a lot.

Hey Bobby you did great really but if you went in and out like you were selling something all around nose rings it would stay together a heck of a lot better so do the thing with the copper like you did but with the silver take like a needle like probably one of those round kind of needles you know that they use the Cobblers use and go in and out about every four threads rings that you put on going in and out all the way around and it will stay together I've done it with actual wire I sent it with leather so I know that it will stay together all right please take care and God bless I love watching what you would do it's great can't wait to see the next one

Melt the wax in hot water and it should be fine! Aldo always melt wax in a pan sitting in boiling water or avocet it like a water bath. Safety fist people.

This is awesome! I was one given the opportunity to “draw” with fire. We used a metal hood and magnets to stick paper to the roof of it, then held up a lighter to the paper. The smoke made really cool patterns, and it just sounded like something you’d do!

Hey, Bobby. I am sure someone has probably already said it, but to remove the wax and not mess up your piece. You should use hot water. It was a great idea and would have worked out good though. I really like your channel and love watching you create. You're funny at times too.. LOL Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what you will make next.

Okay i know im late but dude, all ya need is a thicker wire! After that, regurarly heat it to make it shapeable (heat till it get's cherry red and then wait for it to turn back normal and shape with jewelery pliers) and then just heat it all at once, cool it (it becomes more solid that way), throw it in the pickling solution, leave for 20 minutes and boom, jewelery.
