What are the 2 types of wood you used?

I've checked a lot of e-books with woodworking plans. Instructions from WoodPrx are the best I think.

So this is what happens when you read the IKEA instructions...

Putting some type of industrial strength metal or some other material on the edge of the blade would make it an actual cutting blade. Then you'd just have to make sure the wood was strong enough to not break. Just a thought lol, that knife you made is a beauty!👍

How long over all did it take you to make that knife?

There was a crack in my wooden table and I played with it by pressing my finger against it and sliding my finger down to where it gets narrower and I put so much pressure on it I ended up cutting the shit out of my finger and now there's two little gashes shaped like a v, I got bored and wrote a symbol on the wall with the blood from my finger before I bandaged it up.
